Green Valley Educational Institute successfully hosted VERVE 2026, an inter-school event that brought together young talents on a common platform to celebrate creativity, artistic expression, confidence, and healthy competition. The event featured three major categories — Open Mic, Painting, and Debate.
The programme was graced by Dr. Tasleem Ahmad War, Professor, Department of English, University of Kashmir, as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Showkat Ahmad Kathjoo (IMFA) and Mr. Shabbir Ahmad Hakak, artist, joined as Guests of Honour. The event also witnessed the presence of renowned artist Mr. Inder Saleem. The school dignitaries, including Chairperson Mr. M. Y. Wani, Director, GVEI, Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Nikka, and Principal Riyaz Ahmad Kathjoo, along with jury members also graced the occasion.
The participating students displayed commendable talent and enthusiasm across all categories. Green Valley Educational Institute secured top positions in several categories, including Mimicry, Stand-up, Debate, and Painting, adding to the pride and success of the institution. The achievements reflected the students’ preparation, confidence, creativity, and ability to perform with distinction in a competitive inter-school setting.
The event concluded with the presentation of mementos to the distinguished guests and the felicitation of the winners across the various categories. VERVE 2026 marked a successful celebration of young talent and provided students with a meaningful platform to express themselves, engage with diverse perspectives, and strive for excellence.
