The grand session of the SIS- Students Intellectual Society was held today at the Ahmad Hall with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. All three societies showcased their year-long literary engagement through well-structured debates, an impressive role-play, and thematic presentations based on the novels prescribed in the SIS curriculum. The event reflected the students deep understanding of literature, critical thinking abilities, and creative expression.

The programme was organised under the able mentorship of Mr. Javed Lolpuri, Mentor of SIS and Head of the Department of English, whose guidance shaped the quality and depth of the presentations.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Abid Ahmed Bhat from the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Kashmir, addressed the gathering and appreciated the students for their eloquence, clarity of thought, and confidence. He encouraged them to continue nurturing their intellectual abilities through reading and discussion.

Mr. Riyaz Kathjoo, esteemed Principal also applauded the sincere efforts of the students and staff, highlighting how such platforms contribute to holistic development and strengthen the culture of academic excellence in the school.

Overall, the session was a resounding success and served as an inspiring culmination of the students’ literary journey throughout the year.
