The KinderSmart Department of Green Valley Educational Institute organised “LETTERARTY – The Literacy Carnival”, an engaging educational initiative aimed at strengthening foundational literacy, phonics proficiency, and interactive learning among early years learners.

The carnival featured specially designed, grade-specific learning zones where students explored essential language concepts through play-based activities. Nursery students engaged in letter formation, tactile discovery, and initial sound recognition through activities such as Scoop up the Letter, Alphabet Heist, and Letter Fusion.

KG 1 students strengthened their phonemic awareness and CVC word-building skills through activities including Sight Word Quest, Beginning Sound Snap, CVC Construction Crew, and Match, Build and Read. KG 2 students explored advanced vocabulary and phonetic blending through interactive stations such as Word Orbit, Blend-a-boo, Diggy Doodle Dash, and Wordy Bazaar.

The event was attended by the esteemed Director, Honourable Principal, and other dignitaries, who appreciated the initiative and the students’ enthusiastic participation.

The carnival transformed early literacy learning into an enjoyable and interactive experience, allowing young learners to develop language skills through exploration, participation, and hands-on activities. The initiative reflected the department’s efforts to make foundational learning engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable for every child.
