An orientation session for the newly participating students of Classes 7th and 8th was successfully organised today as part of the Chinar Book Festival at SKICC, Srinagar on 22nd June 2026. The event witnessed the enthusiastic involvement of the students along with approximately 45 guiding faculty members.

The outing commenced with an exploration of the venue, where students and teachers engaged with a wide range of multilingual literature, interactive workshops, and educational exhibits. The students had the opportunity to select and obtain a book of their choice, encouraging a love for reading and learning.

Subsequently, the students and faculty members actively participated in various ongoing competitions at the festival, showcasing their talents and earning well-deserved rewards for their performances.

​To make the occasion enjoyable and celebratory, refreshments were provided to all attendees, ensuring a pleasant and engaging experience throughout the day.

​The visit to the Chinar Book Festival concluded on a positive note and was a great success, fostering a love for literature and setting a confident foundation for creative and academic growth ahead.
