Today, the Mass Media Department marked World Press Freedom Day, under the supervision of their head, Mr. Asif Khan. The student led programme aimed at promoting ethical and responsible journalism. It featured speeches, a mime act, a mock newsroom setup, a live news bulletin, and a tribute to slain journalists.

Noted Kashmiri journalists Hakeem Irfan Rashid and Peerzada Ashiq attended the event and applauded the initiative, encouraging students to uphold truth, integrity, and ethical values in journalism.
Our Chairman Mr. M.Y. Wani, Principal Mr. Riyaz Kathjoo and Activities Head Mr. Rafi Badri were present on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of the students and organisers.
